To reduce the use of plastic disposables, Zero Waste SG is starting a BYO Singapore campaign for retailers to offer incentives to customers who bring their own bottles, containers or bags. We hope to encourage more people to bring their own reusables and reduce plastic disposables through incentives and support.
We are working on the campaign over the next few months and hope to launch the campaign in Sep 2017. Stay updated on our campaign!

Congrats on this campaign! Singapore is a beautiful country which can be even more beautiful if we all go green. I would rather use my own bag anyway-it takes up very little space in my handbag but is so much more sturdy, prettier and easier to carry than those ugly plastic bags.
Do you have any reliable resources to provide information that is suitable for posters promoting BYOC? We are planning to persuade all clubs’ student leaders to adapt this initiative in own club (without forcing them to do so, but hope that they can spread it in their own clubs if interested), especially the events that provide catering. This will definitely reduce the usage of disposables. Hope to hear you soon.
